My power supply just went out on my computer not 10 minutes ago. Right now i'm typing this out on my ps3 and the damn controller *insert insane laughter here*. I'm hoping it didn't kill anything else during the fireworks. I just got done with more armors and was checking them out in the game. Damn this controller sucks to type with. I'll be visiting using my ps3 to keep up with things. Oh well, such is life.

Thanks Abyss, I appreciate that.

Well I decided to stop by this so called computer store on my way to work and grabbed a new PSU. So far everything seems to be running ok and no damage to anything else cheers You really learn to appreciate a keyboard after typing with a controller. Anyways they didn't offer controller classes when I was in school Wink and I've never regretted taking typing classes for one second.

A cheap "Viotek", enough to get me by until I make it to the bigger city and get a real one. I mainly wanted to fire my system up and make sure nothing else got damaged, so this will hold me, I hope, until I get a ride. I gave my car away to someone in more need than I since I work in town and just walk to work, only a mile away. Though I will admit this past Winter was somewhat of a challenge at times but I still made it every day. The only time it really sucks is when I get called out on an alarm in the Winter. The funny thing is, I can usually get there before anyone else as they have to let their vehicles warm up. The only thing I need to warm up is myself, after I get there Laughing .

Haha,alright.

Just be careful that the cheap PSU doesn't go all fireworks on your ass. Shouldn't be a problem unless its Chinese. Very Happy

How about ordering a PSU online rather than hauling ass to town?

For me to order anything online I need to ask a buddy of mine to do it for me. I don't keep any plastic ( charge/debit/credit cards ) and I don't have any form of bank accounts ( checking/savings ). I had him order a video card this month and I'm having issues getting it exchanged right now. The damn thing sits too sloppily in the slot and doesn't have a good connection to give a signal. I was hoping to replace my 7800 GS/256mb with a 7950 GT/512mb but so far it's just sitting here being a rather pricey paperweight. It's just the way things usually go for me. Another example is after buying my PS3 it completely died 28 days later but it was replaced with a brand new system.

I don't even get mad when this stuff happens anymore. I've learned to just expect something not to work and prepare to exchange it and I'm sweetly surprised when things do go right. After a while you learn to laugh at these happenings and enjoy the simpler things. . . like good weather Very Happy

Instead of starting up a new thread I thought I would use this one.

Sorry for not being on but I'm afraid that I'm going to be delayed even further. This is actually the first time I've even been on the internet in about a week.

On with what has been happening. Well my Dad came through the triple heart bypass but only to come across another issue, getting a pace maker Shocked . He's still in the hospital, for how long I'm not sure and will go to a home for recovery and rehabilitation. The downside to this is the home that he will be staying at is the one my Mom was at before she passed. This is going to really put him down and I personally don't know how well he will deal with it.

I'm a city employee and work for the Water/Waste Water department, I know some of you already know this. We are a small group of seven guys that are trained in ALL areas that the job calls for. This ranges from repairing main breaks, public relations, lab work, you name it we seven do it. Unlike the bigger cities, we have to learn everything where they have the comfort of being divided into different departments, ie road crew, lab tech, data recording, chemical adjustment, maintenance etc. This is one of the reasons why guys like us seven are in such high demand in the US, that and the fact that our standards are more strict than most in the US.

This being said, our community is going through a huge project right now dealing with sewer separation ( $15million ) not to mention various smaller projects, clarifier upgrades ( that is running 3 weeks behind schedule ), replacement of meters at every house, just to mention a couple. We also had a 12" main break right outside our plant which shut the plant down for 6 hours until repaired then I had to stay all night to make sure everything would stay on course.

There is a horrible bug going around that somehow found it's way to me, I can usually avoid these things. This bug has taken me and another out of commission for two days leaving our group very light handed. I took off an extra day so as to not spread this virus and so did he. Usually I can work with the vomiting coming from both ends, if you know what I mean, but this thing put me in bed for over 40 hours with a high fever and extreme sweats. I was literally crawling to the bathroom in those desperate times. I'm not going to go into too much detail because it was absolutely disgusting, I do not wish this on anyone.

I noticed that I have some PMs at taleworlds but haven't looked at them yet, I will when I get the chance.

Stay Safe
